Houses and Homes

Here are some small acrylic paintings I did in December, before my health issues got in the way. They are all done on 3/8″ board.

I hope to be posting some of the work I did in the past. And then from there to be making new work and posting it. I will have to see how things go, but I am hopeful.

Those are so lovely and perfect to look at as winter is hopefully coming to it’s conclusion and we need COLOR!! Hope you feel better soon. Hopeful is good.

Thank you. I am hopeful that I’ll keep progressing. And the colors do pick up a better mood, don’t they? I hadn’t looked at these in a while and I was cheered up by the colors!

These are wonderful! I love the abstraction of Blue House Next to a Red Road. (“So much depends upon a blue house / next to a red road….”)

Thank you. Now I don’t know that quote although it’s ringing a bell, but I can’t put my finger on it? Tell me?

These little paintings are the greatest to do. Not too much room in there, so simplicity matters and color is everything…

So much depends upon a red wheel barrow
    Glazed with rain water
    Beside the white chickens.

A little poem, and like with your little paintings, color is everything.
