I got a little sidetracked from showing some photos from the Sunshine Project. So I’ll veer back on to the road and give you a look at a few more.
Today’s theme is trees. At this time of year, their shapes are clean and sharp – not blurred and shifting with green leaves or the distraction of bright fall colors. Everything is exposed and seen for what it is.
All of these pictures were digitally enhanced in some way. I usually just try things until I get a look I like. I see that three of the four pictures here are quite dreamy – fairy tale settings?
The black and white one – I kept reducing the elements until the bare outlines were left. I like the starkness of this kind of image.
