Small Landscape Day 69

Claudia McGill says: What a hopeful moment it is when you first notice little green shoots coming up through the ground. What determination they have to live, knowing absolutely nothing about what kind of place they might have been set in to grow, but doing it anyway. Especially those plants that survive in sidewalk cracks or rock crevices or gravel parking lots. I have a hard time weeding a garden, you can see, and maybe now you see why my garden is open to all-comers?

Yes, and I see it in birds, too, which is why I think I like watching them so much. There is nothing but being what they are, all out. I agree, I feel it is an example for us, straightforward and true.
