More drawings from photos I made on our walk along the Cynwyd Heritage Trail in June (see the post here for details and photos).
The pictures are all from the viewpoint I had up on the old rail bridge that’s now part of the trail. The first one is of the Manayunk Canal, paralleling the Schuylkill River. Next, you see the river to the left of the highway; in the last one, you can see the river, highway, and rail tracks on the other side of the river to the right of the highway. Obviously this area is a transportation nexus!
I was fascinated by the view – this bridge has only been open to pedestrians for some months, although the bridge has been in place forever, though disused as long as I can remember. So the sights were something new to me, despite living here for decades.
