It Is Easy to Make Friends

…with a cat, if you have the mysterious thing that cats like. And I don’t know what that thing is. All I know is – some people have it, and some don’t, and the cats always know the difference.

Oh dear. Now this is really something to think about. I am hoping that by mentioning “first” there was a second, who bonded with you somewhat more, never mind what the cat thought! I am also imagining the cat and the “first” sitting on the sofa, maybe drinking hot chocolate, gossiping, while you had to sit and wait to be noticed. Oh dear again!

Yes, that’s about it! She also spoke to my partner about Buffy the Vampire Slayer a lot. Saying that, she was very good – calm, non judging and had seen it all, just what a new mum needs. Obviously the cat did ‘know’. I love your series of women doing things. I think it’s very apt because women are always doing things and fitting more things in inbetween doing other things for other people!

I love this whole set of interactions you are describing. Fascinating how people are so creatively put together, isn’t it? There is no “average” person, is there?
And you are 100% right about women fitting things in the spaces between doing other things. A quality with a lot of gracefulness and agility to it. Thank you.
