People With Attitudes

Enough said.

And then I say more…

The first two people are from June, 2016; the last one from September, 2016. I am not sure why the earlier people are so intense about things, but the last guy – he’s fastened on to his card by a staple, and maybe that’s the source of the trouble.

I love the subtle colour palettes in the first two. There’s something about them that make me think of figures emerging from mist. With the third, I love that the figure is boxed in, contained, but I feel like that’s how (s)he wants it.

Thank you. I am a fan of small cozy spaces and I find I often box in or enclose figures or items in my work. On the other hand, I also don’t like feeling – trapped – or in a space that I can’t get out of. So I also usually seem to have an exist or way out. I notice this now when I do it and I always reflect on being able to make the choice of what kind of place where I live, or spend my time.
