    I think there is a sense of menace. I’m pleased the figure on the right is walking out of the frame – it means there’s an escape route. Your paintings have real emotional clout, Claudia!

    Thank you. This one just evolved. I started with a photo of some buildings I had taken and it really went in a direction I had not anticipated nor was I really controlling it. Especially the people. I felt the same way. There needed to be an exit in this painting. Things are kind of bottled up in it, I think.
