Fading into Cacophony

This poor fellow looks like he needs to get away from it all, but he can’t seem to do it.

    Thank you. It was a piece of paper that I had written on, the background, glued down with some wrinkles to the ATC. The figure, I cut it out of a grocery bag, the brown kind. I like the weight of paper. And then I just used acrylics, I think the black I used was Mars black, Liquitex. I used a paintbrush to apply it and I might have pressed another paper on top of all this to take off some of the black, sometimes I have too much and that’s what I do – that’s what makes it more textured, I think.
