I did this little painting (it’s 10″ x 8″) from a photo I took at the Hotel Bethlehem in Bethlehem, PA, last Thanksgiving. These two men were providing music for the Thanksgiving buffet lunch. I thought the combination of accordion and guitar was wonderful to the eye and to the ear.
Here are some pictures I’ve taken in the last few months. There is no theme. There is no story. I just liked what I saw and photographed it.
None of these had any enhancements done to it; they are as they were and I saw them.
Slice of life kind of day for today’s post, I think!
Poor dead plant. I saw it in a shop window in Bethlehem, PA
A happier situation – a hydrangea blossom fading, in my backyard, a couple of months ago.
A photo of the interior of my garage through the side window.
Reflections of Market Street, Philadelphia, PA, from 21 stories up – from my husband’s office. (Notice he has some of my artwork on the walls, and notice me, taking the picture, on the left…). There are a lot of layers of reality and illusion in this picture, aren’t there?
This door, Bethlehem, PA, just minding its own business…
reflecting the buildings opposite (I do like the touch of the leftover piece of tape on the glass, too)…
